1. Who We Are

This website and the Quizly newsletter are operated by Fortitude Omnis Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

For the purpose of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Fortitude Omnis Group Ltd is the data controller.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate this site and deliver our newsletter:

  • Email address — when you subscribe to the Quizly newsletter.
  • IP address — temporarily, for rate limiting and fraud prevention. This is not stored permanently.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment details, or any other personal information through this website.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your email address is used solely to:

  • Send you the Quizly welcome email, including any promotional voucher.
  • Send you occasional emails about Quizly — launch news, new features, question packs, and bonus give-aways.

We will never use your email address for any other purpose.

4. Lawful Basis for Processing

We rely on consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR) as our lawful basis for processing your email address. You provide this consent when you voluntarily enter your email and click "Subscribe".

You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at contact@fortitude-omnis.group.

5. Data Sharing

We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address to any third party. Your data is shared only with the following service providers who process it on our behalf:

These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may only use your data as instructed by us.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your email address is stored in a secure database hosted by our web hosting provider. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit.
  • Access controls limiting who can view subscriber data.
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse of the subscription endpoint.

7. Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your email is deactivated (marked inactive) and retained solely to prevent duplicate subscriptions and voucher abuse. You may request full deletion at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to withdraw consent — unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@fortitude-omnis.group. We will respond within one calendar month.

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any analytics tools. We do not track your browsing behaviour.

10. Children

This website and newsletter are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their email address, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
